Simply amazing. No other words can really describe this devious duo. From the overall look, down to the details of their costumes, to the depths of their characters. These two are total treat for the masses. The knowledge they have is beyond what even POTC can provide. I highly reccommend hiring these people for anything you can dream up. Words can not fully describe what it is like working with these two talented people.

I wish I could post the photo I took of my son with Mannifred and Renea' because words cannot captivate my son's excitement! Out of all of the places we have been, sites we have seen, and people we have met, my son (age 6) has talked about NOTHING except "the pirates". It was such a great birthday treat to see these two! He was overjoyed and a little star-struck! Thanks again! 💓

Mannifred and Renea,
I just wanted to take a moment to thank you both for being so awesome.

My wife and I were in New Orleans at the end of January and on our very last day in the city we ran into the two of you performing on the street. It unexpectedly turned out to be one of the highlights of our trip. The time you both took to stop and talk to us and walk us through every impressive detail of your outfits was not only appreciated but seriously left us speechless. We loved the attention to detail you both clearly took and the undoubtedly countless hours it took to recreate those outfits. Very well done.

Thanks for doing what you two do. We truly enjoyed meeting you both and should we find ourselves back in NOLA we will be sure to come say hello.

Absolutely awesome couple. The Captain is great not to mention friendly and the pirate is hilarious. All costumes are handmade!! Very informative would definitely recommend. Check them out !!!!

Reana & Mannifred it was such a pleasure to meet you both! Your craftsmanship and artistry with your costumes are nothing short of phenomenal. Your role play of pirates took me away from 2018 back to a time when it was common for pirates to be in the French Quarter. Thank you for providing such a fun experience!

The pirates are the blood of Jackson Square. Without them it just would not be the same. When my friends come and visit I always point them out and their amazing outfits. My nephew adores them, every time he sees them he goes crazy for them. Also my personal style of costume is inspired by their comments and praise. So keep at it, you guys are awesome!!!!

There is no possible way to describe the impact that this couple has in the French quarter in NOLA. They are outstanding they are NOT like any other street performers anywhere they are NOT beggars and I have never seen them ever just approach anyone to sell themselves as they don't need to as everyone is just drawn to them. Their garb is exquisite and handmade by them which is extraordinary in itself but also shows the dedication they have for their art. Yes I said Art for they true artist and can make you feel as if you are back in the era of Pirates and Fair Lady's. They are a must see any and every time you find yourself in NOLA. Although you are only in their presence for a moment in time that moment with them will last forever.

Me and my friends are in new Orleans for a band trip and it's our last full day here, and we were walking around and found then performing on the street and we took a picture with them. They were absolutely a wonderful pair of people. The time they took to talk to us about where we're from(Western Canada) was so appreciated. Definitely reccomend talking to them and hiring they're service 10/10

We were in New Orleans Easter weekend and happen to come across the best pirates ever! My youngest absolutely loves all things pirates as he picked a pirate ship out at the Aquarium and had to show them. They took their time to talk to him about his pirate ship and it truly made his day. He kept asking me the rest of the day if we could go back and talk to them!

These 2 are absolutely amazing! My son Owen was so nervous but they made him feel so welcome! We had so much fun as a family and I can't thank them enough for including my boys! Truly an amazing experience.

The Pirate Queen and King are the best pirates we've encountered! Not only are they full of fun and cleaver shenanigans, but they are sincerely kind humans. My daughter and her friend really enjoyed their time with them. We hope to have the privilege of encountering them again, perhaps at the War at 4.

My daughter and I absolutely love the Pirate King and Queen. They are the first she seeks out when we arrive at the Renaissance Faire. They both know us by name and always include us in their shenanigans and dance offs. They are entertaining, witty and have great charisma and conversational humor. Definitely THE highlight of our Renaissance Faire and make the experience so memorable. Huzzah!!

The Pirate King & Queen made our daughter feel so special when we visited their booth in Oklahoma. They had a map for her, a hat, a belt, a sword, and a bunch of really awesome Pirate treasure and candy. She got a yes day where we couldn't tell her no. It was a magical day filled with quests and beautiful costumes. It's mindblowing the amount of love and time that they put into their performance, vibe, and look! My daughter felt like she was in a fairytale. And we cannot wait to see them again! We refuse to go to a Renaissance faire if they aren't invited. They are the one and only Pirate act that anyone in the US should book!

My bf was made to “walk the plank” and I still show people the video of him being called an “ankle looker” and we still laugh. I have so many hilarious memories with these 2 fantastic people 💖 their costumes are never second best and they bring such an amazing energy to a fair, other fairs feel empty without them. I love and miss your faces! Stay safe out there!!!

Having had the pleasure of working with the Pirate King and Queen on two separate occasions, I can guarantee that you will ALWAYS have a phenomenal experience with them!! They are the perfect mixture of professional and personable, making every interaction a delight to watch. The care that goes into everything from their merchandise to their dance moves to their costumes to their speech is present right from the first moment. If you want your Faire to have a splash of swashbuckling and flair, the Pirate King and Queen deliver in spades. I wish I could give them 10 stars out of 5, but 5 out of 5 will have to suffice.
